Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3: DC Heroes and Supercharged Abilities

Fortnite is entering an exciting phase filled with iconic heroes and powerful abilities, building on the momentum of previous themed seasons with dramatic gameplay events.

After a season influenced by a celebrated space saga that culminated with an unforgettable live occurrence where players dismantled a notorious space station, a fresh set of characters is returning. This update leans on mostly original creations while featuring a couple of familiar DC appearances.

In spite of Epic Games’ longstanding ties with other major franchises, the latest update welcomes characters from the DC universe, including a modern rendition of Superman inspired by the upcoming James Gunn production set for release in July. This development It appears in Fortnite's sixth chapter, season three, called Super, which introduces the Supernova Academy designed for enhancing superhero gameplay.

Players will now be able to discover innovative gear and abilities, such as:

• Dual revolving firearms referred to as Killswitch Revolvers
• An audio device that generates a powerful soundwave known as Bass Boost
• A visor that tracks adversary locations known as the Tracking Visor
• Later transformations into either a mighty creature or a flock of ravens

The battle mode also incorporates a novel Hero Rank system ranging from C to S+ that advances as players defeat opponents or their cohorts, which in turn allows access to these extraordinary abilities.

The character of Superman is set to become available as a distinctive reward through the Battle Pass in July, while early access to the pass will unlock Robin as well.

This update, featuring the enhanced powers and a dynamic battle pass, will remain active until August 8.
